From start to finish, my experience with Eye Specialists in Regent has been great. The staff have all been knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, kind and efficient. The results from my surgery were exactly what I had hoped for. Of note, the nurses and doctor made the experience in pre-surgery and surgery as relaxing as possible, so I was able to opt for no sedation. Also, great follow up post surgery. I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I found everyone at Eye Specialists in Whangarei to be extremely helpful and reassuring. The after care of follow up after surgery was really great; I was phoned by my specialist on the day of both my operations; along with phone calls from the team at the eye clinic.

I had both my cataracts done at the same time. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I was rather nervous, so welcomed the offer of a hand to hold onto during the actual op. All instructions for pre operation, during and post op were clearly given and they made sure I understood what was required of me and what the procedures were. I'm one week post op now and my vision is clear. The outer rim shimmers are gone and I'm happy that I won't need contact lenses anymore, just hobby glasses for close reading.
