I first developed short sightedness in my childhood, and wore spectacles from the age of 8. For the last three years I have been aware that I was developing cataracts, so I finally plucked up the courage to do something about this and made an appointment with Dr Guglielmetti. He carefully explained what would happen and why, and what results he thought would result - without raising undue hopes. He operated at the beginning of February (a really pain free experience in a caring environment), and by the next day it was obvious that my far sight had been restored and that my near sight was relatively good. I am delighted to say that now I have clear vision, 20/20 + vision, and after 65 years of short sightedness I feel that you have given me a gift I never could have expected. I find it difficult to express how grateful I am for your skill and your care.
