Very professional and all staff helpful and polite

Dr Brian Kent Smith did a cataract extraction & lens insertion on 12 January 2021 of my right eye on behalf of the Northland District Health Board. This operation went very well. My eye felt gritty just for a few days. The next operation was due for my left eye. I asked the Whangarei Hospital if this could be done again by the same eye doctor. After the usual wait for a publicly funded service I got that operation done again by Dr Brian Kent Smith in his rooms at 19 Kamo Road several months later. This time the operation went perfect. No pain after the operation, no grittyness, perfect visibility. If I ever need an ophthalmologist again I am sure where to go.

I had a YAG capsulotomy procedure carried out here on both eyes and was very impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and care of the doctors, nurses and staff. I highly recommend them.

Helpful staff and professional service

I go here regularly for Glaucoma. The staff are always friendly and the doctors are informative.
