From the moment of opening Eye Specialist’s door, I could sense the warmth and care with which all patients are treated. Staff remembered me by name from my second visit onwards. Everyone is focused on providing highly efficient and effective care, but making sure you understand the procedures. Brian has a gentle and patient manner, and explains problems and treatments extremely clearly— he never brushes away one’s concerns. Stefano is clearly very knowledgable and competent, blending into the tranquil atmosphere particular to our Eye Specialists. So lucky to have them in Whangarei!

I had a cataract which was seriously affecting my sight and in particular, my driving capability. Eye Specialists were amazing. The whole process was great, with being well informed about the whole operation process, to before and after care service. The care and attention afforded me on the day of the operation was amazing, including giving my husband a coffee post operation. The follow up service was also incredible and at all times I was treated with the utmost respect. The team at Eye Specialists are amazing and I can't recommend them highly enough. I had both eyes done for cataracts. The staff were always helpful and caring , nothing seemed to be a problem.Dr. KentSmith was calm and assuring at all times. Never had any problems at anytime, either pre op during op or post op. Would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone, young or old. Bruce
